The Bulova Men's Marine Star Calendar Watch features handsome angles and edges for a sharp look. A water-resistant black rubber band is enhanced by angled edges and joins to a gold-tone stainless steel case with a similar angled design. An octagonal black frame is topped by a gold-tone stainless steel bezel that features black screw-down accents and fashionable side cuts. A black dial displays stick and Arabic numeral minute markers, silver-toned Roman numeral and shape hour indicators, as well as a Bulova logo at the 12 o'clock position. Three subdials, a date window at the four o'clock position, and luminous skeleton hands complete the appeal of this fine timepiece. The Bulova Men's Marine Star Calendar Watch is water resistant to 330 feet.

From a few feet away it looks identical and some friends thought that I was wearing the Hublot. It is a bit heavy but you would expect that from a watch of this size with a heavy rubber watch band. Some may find the band uncomfortable. It doesn't fit under some dress shirts so I typically wear it only when I dress casually. This is alot of watch and your going to need a lot of wrist to wear it well. Now this is subjective but if your wrist is medium or less in diameter, this watch is going to swallow, for lack of a better word, your wrist. Also I didn't find the rubber wrist band very comfortable to wear. I found myself constantly adjusting it. It's also a struggle to get the thing off. Not only was it about $100 less than ordering it from the Bulova site but the watch was beautiful and looks exactly like its image! I wish I could have captured my husband's face when he opened the gift. The only thing I had to do was set the time and wind it up so that the date matched...Thanks Amazon....came through again!! |
